coaches are both very skilled and experienced in assisting clients
to determine career pathways suitable and of interest to them; to
learn and apply the skills relating to the best methods of seeking
chosen employment, and in preparing for that all important interview
experience
Many people are unsure of what they want to do with their working
lives. They typically complete secondary school, drift in and
out of a number of different positions in an effort to find
something which offers them interest, job satisfaction and a
rewarding career path, but never seem to find the right one.
They may see their peers undertake tertiary qualifications,
apprenticeships and other study courses , work their way up the
ranks and enjoy the fruits of their labour and they become

Let our trained
Employment Counsellors give you some honest, sound advice and guide
you through the process. We are there to assist you every step
of the way. Although it is preferable to make an appointment
and meet one on one, we recognize that this just isn’t feasible for
everyone – especially if they are calling from country areas,
interstate or overseas. Telephone interviews and communicating
on-line are other options. As well as assisting you as a
counsellor, we will give you a copy of our popular job search book
“Get It Right! Smart Job Seeking Strategies”. This is a
handy reference resource you will use over and over again and a
great tool to share with other members of your family.

Great news: you have been requested to attend an
interview!
Does the prospect of attending an interview excite you or fill
you with dread? Is this your first interview? Has it
been years since you attended an interview and don’t know what to
expect? Have you heard that interviews don’t necessarily
involve you just sitting behind the desk and answering questions?
What kind of questions can you expect? What do you wear?
Will you forget what you need to say and come across a nervous wreck
instead of the confident and impressive applicant you want to be?
Come along and attend a one on one workshop on Interview Skilling
with our trained coach so that you perform at your best on the day.
They will look at the position and ask you some typical interview
questions you may get for the type of role you are going for.
They will prepare you for the interview and also give you strategies
for coming across more confident on the day. In addition you
will be given feed back on how you present and are coming across to
the interviewer, including body language and attitude. Mock
interviews are also available for those requiring special,
individualized analysis and feedback of interview preparation and
performance.
